      As of late, I am having a hard time finding "PROs", But if I have to give some... The company is trying.... They want to care.....

      Cons

      I dont know were to begin.... Lets put it this way, the corprate leaders are so detatched from reality that it is tearing this company apart.

      Pros

      Leadership promotes strong values, salary even though less then industry norm is still above national average and growth in size allows national mobility. CenturyTel and Embarq areas have a more friendly work environment.

      Cons

      Actions do not live up to promoted values and corporate provides little support for those who do. To be fair they have a very large challenge and it may take years to achieve, Qwest areas still micro managed and use an over abundance of fear and intimidation as motivation,

      Great if you live in Monroe, LA

      Cons

      "Guiding Principles", like a lot of companies, are posted everywhere, but they are not really followed. "Faith" in management is not a principle, it is a cult. Acquisitions are based on picking weak companies, and executive decisions are very haphazard. Morale is as low as I have ever seen it at a company.
