Pros

Stock price action is postive and they pay a good dividend. Good training and quite a few good people actually work here.

Cons

They lie about providing health insurance after 90 days. It never happened even a month after promised. Customer Service there is a joke. Agents are supposed to sell to the customers who call in to discuss their huge bill from the last agent who loaded them up on things they didn't need or didn't want. When agents see they can't make a sale, they transfer them or just hang up.

Pros

Since upper management has no idea how to run a telephone co it's pretty safe to blend in. Without qualifications any technician without any experience can volunteer to be lower level management. Decissions made by upper management keep changing with no reason just the "We say so mentallity". Ideas put forth by experiencee technicians are ignored but after several months management will eventually change and go to same ideas as thier own, after wasting lot's of money. The screw up move up mentallity is alive and well and being a kissass with minimal experience is a plus for advancement. So if you play your cards right monitarily you will be sucessful until they figure it out which I estimate 2 to 3 years.

Cons

No leadership from upper management 1st level management must adapt or loose. No established technical practices are always reinvented in the field and barely passed on correctly. Local managers take days off during week to work from home and can never be reached. Relying more on contractors who are trained less than company technicians who have very little training either. No support from upper division level preach the unifying principles but never practice them. Employees are continually lied to.
