      It's like a cult there, if you don't drink the kool-aid then you are out the door. They have a total disregard for patient care.

      Bureaucratic and in need of leadership overhaul

      -The work was not particularly challenging (pro or con, I guess) -Overall, the hospital as a whole seems to have good core values and goals. -Decent pay for a hospital

      Cons

      -Bureaucracy. Lots of red tape to deal with, unless when dealing with clinical (see next point). -I understand this is a hospital, but the IS department seemed to be run by the clinical leadership. It seems like the IS leadership are just 'yes men'. -In IS at least, promotions or transfers seemed to favor external candidates. When internal ones were selected, it seemed to be based more on politics. -Expensive health insurance, for a hospital!
