Pros

Very positive team with strong emphasis on training and innovation. Focus on community charitable events as team building which added a lot to the feeling of being part of a caring coporate culture. Focus has traditionally been in the area of psychiatric and neurological medications but in recent years has added an oncology division. I was in a field based position and experienced great support from my local manager and field sales trainer.

Cons

Overall was a very positive experience but recent restructuring seems to have had a dampening effect on employee morale, especially as future plans haven't always been communicated clearly to employees.

Pros

Great people. Truly dedicated to helping the suffering of those with brain and nervous system diseases. Ethical.

Cons

Process heavy to the point of inertia...difficult to get a decision made with the multiple layers of approvals required for even small changes. Career advancement is difficult to impossible for most, and only possible for well-connected. New CEO and the discovery that the company had too many resources for the work it had resulted in restructure and elimination of 1,000 jobs worldwide.

Pros

Flat structure - access to senior management.

Cons

Strategy comes from Denmark and imposed on UK. Understanding of market (ie lack of understanding) means marketing is forced to do short term campaigns to meet immediate contribution requirements.
