Big company, good opportunities

Pros

Straightforward management, no manager-speak in any form, what is promissed is always given. You can switch a project or even a country and relocation will take care of all stuff you need. Conditions of work are different across projects and despite reqruiters will not lie to you it always worth to ask details to stay on the same page. Most of the projects are some kind of fintech for a bank, and if you're into this field you can use luxoft to jump start your career in that way (which I did :) ). In general if you're just starting your career or want to work in a fintech then definitely consider this company.

Cons

Requiriments are quite low and I feel like 20% of people there should not work in IT in general, and despite company tries to grow people they'll push you only from junior to low-regular level. If you're seasoned engineer hoping for futher improving in technical field, then go somewhere else.

There are cool projects in Luxoft/UBS (but not too many :))

Pros

Hard to complain: had a cool fresh project with great salary and excellent management. Other projects around were much worse. I explicitly asked for a new one - had been developed for half a year before I came.

Cons

Work is done via virtual machines, remote UBS IT is often not skilled enough making releases painful.

Pros

You receive a salary and if you are lucky and you're not working in Harman you can be fairly treated.

Cons

All management/lead positions are allocated based on friendship relations. It doesn't matter if you are doing you job well or if the customer is satisfied with your work. If you're not a friend of Alexandru Motoc or Francisc Pitica you can't advance to a better position inside the company - they are promoting Juniors or the ones that were removed from other projects for incompetence instead of experienced one in leading positions I wouldn't recommend it to anyone: you have the feeling that you are working for the state budget.
