Unfortunately, I worked a manager who has a chip on their shoulder and only wanted employees just like them.

Pros

Great place to work as a developer. The environment is very conducive to expanding your technical abilities through company paid training, conferences, and interesting project work.

Cons

When you work in particular sections of federal contracting, you're going to have to accept lower than average pay compared to other industries. That's my only con is make sure you're happy with the initial salary because it's typically not going to rise significantly unless you plan on moving to a management role.
