      Pros

      salary is competitive bonus program is better than most 401k matching is better than most great boss and good co-workers good safety programs fantastic reliability in manufacturing

      Cons

      IT is rabid regarding security, requiring work-arounds Doesn't seem to be much of a long-term strategy Still seems to be a lot of baggage from bankruptcy Conflict adverse with individuals More likely to change policies than manage performance

      The company is well positioned in the market, with excellent vertical integration, and many talented people. With shell gas influenced price competitiveness LYB is doing the right things well ahead of competition.

      Cons

      In this aggressive talent focused market LYB has been slow to respond to competitive changes in salary. New HR leadership is trying to make course corrections, but there is strong resistance from some of the top leadership.
