      Pros

      Employees Compensation The people that have remained are hard working and great employees. There is still a team environment, but quickly being eroded. Great place for a manager, if you are a yes person and like having lots of money thrown at you.

      Cons

      Senior Management This company is all about making a profit and the employees are a necessary evil that have to be endured until Senior Management, Jim can figure out a way to outsource all of the employees. The worker bees are leaving in droves, but that's ok, because Jim never thought much of us anyway. It's become bureaucratic and depressing. Just look at the hundreds of open positions that they have listed and difficulty hiring people.

      pay scale, job schedule, benefits

      Cons

      company does not communicate with employees, if employee is injured, company does not stand behind employee, any employee on LTD is considered out of the system and no help in sight. Current management is totally out of the loop where its employees are concerned, only concern is the all mighty dollar.

      Pros

      With many of our peers already gone and others leaving in droves to other owner operators we have excellent networking opportunities.

      Cons

      Unfortunately when companies go down the path that Lyondellbasell is going, the end result can be catastrophic. I only hope no one gets hurt. But something will happen. Turnover is horrendous and senior management is doing nothing. Very competent senior folks are leaving, and it is getting very scary, listening to the remaining fools make some serious decisions that could affect lots of folks.
