      Good salary and boost to CV Friendly, helpful & knowledgeable colleagues Good technology to compete in the market

      Crazy environment to meet 12-hour deadlines - this "panic" mentality has become routine! Little time to think about strategy and long term planning; fire fighting to fend off senior management takes up time and energy Little growth potential for career development, management is interested in own career promotion

      Pros

      "New Company feel" - with all the re-organisation that is going on and all the new staff taking up positions - this feels like a whole new start-up company, so maybe opportunities will be knocking on my door.

      Cons

      Back-stabbing seems to be the new name of the game - who can you bring down today so others avoid looking at your performance too closely. No sense of team - its a me culture, you have to look good at all costs to be the most popular in town No flexibility when looking at individual circumstances for not being able to re-locate and in other cases - being forced to re-locate and given a lower position with less salary - woopee! Fear - oh boy, you do not want to be seen to be negative at all costs - to be seen as negative = loosing your job
