Pros

If you are a hot shot with a hammer your people attitude this the perfect place for you.

Cons

Lyris is a small business grown big in a short time. The company has the potential to grow and be great but will not embrass change. Everyone cannot steer the ship.

Pros

Lyris management has a long term success view and has teams in place that focus on a "customer first" attitude. Both hosted and software sides continue to make significant product improvements to the product, and the management company-wide invests time and money into the career advancement of their teams.

Cons

Like anyone right now, the economy is taking its effect on Lyris. Amazingly, we have been able to avoid any layoffs or economic based job losses.

Pros

They are somewhat insulated from the current economic conditions as they have income from their major shareholder and their products are profitable.

Cons

The leadership from the top is lacking in terms of communication and respect for employees. Employees have little confidence in competence of leadership. Micromanagement is rampant in certain departments. However, some departments are insulated enough to be able to simply do their jobs and avoid the overall dysfunction.
