      Pros

      The company environment is genuine and helpful. Everyone I have come in contact with has had a good attitude. The pay is competitive and the benefits are good. The expectations are real and achievable.

      Cons

      There are downsides to any job, but in comparison to other companies, MAA is a winner!

      Pros

      Solid company. No games. Try hard to create a solid team approach to work.

      Cons

      Very poor work/life balance. Managers and Assistant Managers put in zero extra time to get the job done. People at the bottom of the pay scale are left to figure it out on their own. Pay is very low in comparison to the number of tasks expected to perform. Treated like a receptionist, expected to be a super star sales person. Pay scale is that of a receptionist. Exhausted and broke at the end of every day.

      Pros

      The pay is just ok. The benefits are pretty good as far as paid vacations and paid holidays. I like that you work 4 hours on Sunday and get paid for 8. Im not sure how good the insurance is. I'm still covered under my parents.

      Cons

      The commissions should be more. It seems to be too many back and forth changes as far as the leases and company policies which is rather annoying.
