      Coworkers are wonderful; large pool of experienced mentors to learn from; fast paced ever-changing environment

      Cons

      Depending on your upper manager there is limited/no opportunity for advancement, limited/no opportunity for lateral movement, raises/promotions not given based on merit, raises/promotions given when employee presents management with job offer from another company

      Pros

      At Macom you will be working with some very advanced technologies, smart people, and strong potential for future growth of the company. There are good educational benefits 18 credits per year fully paid school reimbursement upon completion with C or better. There okay health benefits, vison and dental benefits. PTO is accrued bi-weekely at a 2.5hr/per week. 12 Hr shift work at 3days or 4 days on alternating weekly.

      Cons

      Management was difficult to get through too, strongly focused on its headquarters in Lowell. Engineers seems to be tasked into separate groups without efficient working structures.
