Pros

The paid time off is comparable to other similar contracting companies. PTO depends on clearance level- TS//SCI will get you 20 days. Benefits are good. 6% 401K match, tuition assistance (after one year of employment), great mobility program, annual 2-3% bonus.

Cons

The company no longer offers sick days, so you have to use PTO days if you have them. I have only been with the company two years and really don't have many complaints.

Pros

Good opportunity for entry level positions. Good benefits and competitive salaries.

Cons

Senior management does not empower lower level managers to make decisions. Company is having financial challenges, which has created a stressful and at times a hostile work environment.

Pros

Jobs nationwide/worldwide; supportive of reserve/national guard time off; supportive of professional education/development. Company seems to have good plans for growth. If you're an ETS-ing or retiring veteran, this is a good place to get your first experience in the private sector. Be prepared to possibly do a boring/menial job but if you're in a location or job-area that you enjoy you can easily grow to something better. If not, you'll have the chance to earn some credentials and experience that should make you marketable elsewhere.

Cons

Kind of a typical "beltway bandit" contractor firm. I.e., while they have jobs in a variety of government agencies around the US and world, they have jobs in a variety of government agencies. Many of the on-site managers can be a bit stiff. I only have a bachelor's degree but I have a fair amount of applicable work experience. In spite of this, my salary is okay but not very competitive in DC.
