      Pros

      Good pay, good benefits. Educational benefits if desired. Offered a severance package when contract was chopped - was impressed as a lot of places won't do so.

      Cons

      Only contact with corporate higher-ups was for anything major, which can be seen as both good and bad.

      The contract I was on had a great team that was diverse and knowledgeable.

      Pros

      they actually paid straight wage overtime on salary. as an IT it was nice to know that the expectation of late hours rarely went uncompensated. everything was hands on and all were encouraged to improve their skills in all areas by "playing around" on the test network. I gained a lot of tacit knowledge that just can't be taught in a classroom.

      Cons

      The program manager i had at the beginning was an egotistical, narcissist, who essentially liked to talk down to his people outside the office... low and behold once some playful backtalk at a bar one night happened and he couldn't come up with a comeback, he decided I was a terrible employee...
