Pros

Nope. No. Nada. None. Nah.

Cons

If you have ever had the misfortune to work here, my soul weeps for you. Working at MAS has been enough to drive people into a deep depression. If you are thinking about working here- I beg you to reconsider. I wouldn’t wish that experience on my worst enemy. Every day eats away at your happiness until you have nothing left. It doesn’t matter how hard you work- IT IS NEVER ENOUGH. Pips are handed out like lollipops- here’s a thought- if your entire team is on a pip- maybe the expectations aren’t attainable?!?!! The new management team that came in when Periscope took over is bottom of the barrel. They have ZERO experience with healthcare recruiting and never do any actual work- they all stand at the top and threaten the work horses on the bottom with fear of losing their jobs if they don’t produce more- here’s a hot take- fear based motivation doesn’t work. They tell you you must produce more without giving you the tools to do so. This company is going under and fast. Our Christmas parties used to be amazing- this year they offered us a Thursday night Christmas party AT THE OFFICE. Meanwhile, the C level are making hundreds of thousand dollar salaries. The whole company is so gross and embarrassing. If you have any pride or respect for yourself- don’t work here. If you do end up working here- may god have mercy on your soul.

Pros

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL (i had to write 5 words)

Cons

Everything. And then some. I always got confused when people said forever “and ever” …. but I get it now, the list of cons goes on FOREVER AND EVER (sing it). Leaving was easily the best decision I’ve made in my life, and trust me - I’ve made a lot of good decisions. It’s truly sad how much this place ruins the motivation and drive of those who genuinely live to work. The COO and CEO have worked as the dreamiest team to sink this once successful and thriving ship. They’re the best - NAHT. Talk about evil villain pirates. Captain Jack Sparrow would be proud. Micromanagers? You’ll find them there! HR? What’s that? Unrealistic expectations? CHECK! Toxic management? heck yes. Liars? You got em. DO NOT RECOMMEND! RUN THE OTHER WAY! They’ll be closed within the next year (thank goodness).

Pros

There are great memories of when this company was run by people who cared about their employees

Cons

Do you want to feel like you are worthless? Want to do twice the work for the same or less results? Want to be micromanaged to the point of not even being sure how you made it to the senior recruiter level? Than this is the company for you! Upper management really has a knack for making you feel like the years you devoted your blood, sweat and tears are completely don’t matter at all and neither do you! BUT WAIT! There’s more! Watch your colleagues and friends drop like flies through mass layoffs and extensive burnout from top producers as the company slowly crumbles around you. Good luck MAS!
