Dear Press Assistant, Thank you for your review. We're pleased to offer a climate controlled environment and we make 6S a priority to ensure that even in our inky print environment, we're keeping things safe, organized and clean. We're working on proactive staffing initiatives to get people excited about the printing trade and aspire to have partnerships and networks that make hiring and retaining folks a bit more seamless. You may have heard about the Manufacturing Day initiatives where we had over 30 guests on site to learn about the industry. This is just one example of the hands-on work we're doing here. If you have concerns or ideas on how we can improve, please stop by your HR partner's office. We'd love to hear from you and leverage your ideas.

Pros

The benefits are awesome. Best benefit package I’ve ever had. Coworkers help make this place tolerable.

Cons

Pretty much everything else. Cut break times from a 30 minute meal and two 15 min breaks to a 20 minute meal and three 10’s. Can’t even hardly get to the cafeteria, heat my food and rush to eat before my time is up. 12 hour shifts running a machine and I get a 20 minute meal. If this is meant to boost production, it makes people want to work less hard because it’s more apparent everyday how little management cares. Morale is at an all time low. Coworkers having anxiety attacks and leaving mid shift because of the unnecessary pressure. Company was bought out by a private equity firm who is tearing us down to a skeleton crew to sell us off for a profit. Line the pockets of all the big wigs on breaking our backs.

Dear Press Assistant, We want to thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We're happy to hear you're enjoying your coworkers and our benefits package, but it sounds like we've got some big opportunities on other fronts to ensure you get ample time to eat your lunch during your long shift and to better communicate the exciting changes and resources available with our new ownership. Would you be willing to speak to HR to share more of your insights and ideas? Like you said - we want our culture to be a living and breathing great thing, and not just a hashtag.

Pros

Lots of OT, of course its mandatory. Management is ever changing and there is no company direction at all. It changes each and every day. So, if you like uncertainty this is the place for you.

Cons

Horrible corporate management. Nobody cares at all. Quality sucks and again nobody cares at all. You constantly get yelled at it starts from corporate and works its way down. There is no direction and constant hiding of finances accounting. The company literally can't or won't pay their bills and credit holds of materials are a daily issue. Doesn't look good for FDC to not pay their bills. The VP who visits is horrible. He doesn't care about anyone and will hardly even give you a passing glance when you say hello. Is that really the culture you want to be a part of?

Thank you for taking to time to share your feedback and, needless to say, we are disappointed that your time with us included such a negative experience. If you are open to it, would you mind connecting with me via phone so that I can learn more? My name is Ron Weber with the corporate Human Resources function and I can be reached at 847-427-5295.
