Pros

Really can't say any until they get their act together. You get paid, but you have to make sure your hours are correct every pay period.

Cons

Hire from Temps and if you don't work out, your out. Quality and paperwork for employees is excessive, so they can report to their customers that quality steps were taken. Although quality is preached it is not practiced to alot of standards. Sad to see a company with good potential abuse that to proclaim quality and safety are its main causes. Try to find an employee with tenure there, next to impossible. Most stay a year and move on, that speaks volumes about this company.

Pros

Paychecks didn't bounce. The business seems to be pretty steady so that the employment is fairly secure. Very busy so the time passes pretty quickly

Cons

Management is unqualified. The culture is one of blame someone else if anything goes wrong. The idea of teamwork is a foreign concept to the management team. Frankly, the management team is not qualified to run a company the size of Multi-Color. The company has gone on a huge acquisition spree without having the management infrastructure in place to handle everything. Morale is low and turnover is high.

Pros

pay is good when you bust your butt and put your heart in everything you do. If you dont want to work do show up. It is a great place to work but you will have to work. I know the management team on a first name basis and i can honestly tell you they care about safety. The new gm Louie is by far the best boss i have the chance to work for and with. He takes my ideas to heart and dosent give me any bull ****.... Yes i understand that this lifestyle will not make me rich but i work four days on four days off and three days on and three days off. What other job will tell you to take three to four days off on a regular basis without getting fired. No where besides off or onshore. Which has great pay but no benifits outside of that little box. I worked for a prison before this job and just health for two was over four hundred a month and it wasnt good healt at that. Fort dearborn offers a wide array of benifts and for two i only pay less that fourty five dollars a week. So you can complain all you want. If you give this company your total focus and work hard you can move up within a couple of years.

Cons

Yes pay is not great but it is not terrible either. No team exercises. little commutation for the night shifts. Day shift gets 30 min to 2 hr meeting a day and the night shifts get told to get to work now. A real jip. But maybe i really didnt want to hear all that **** anyways. Still they should make any effort to convey the message in any form or fashion. Family favoritism is strong there. Some people screw around all night and everyone sees them and get told nothin but if i talk to someone for 2 min i get told why are you over here get back to work. Those same people get chewed out and then get told sorry for coming across like that while the other people in the chew session get told nothing afterwards. Man i wish i could get my point across to the higher ups but this is life so i will suck it up for another forty five more years.
