      Mostly good, but morale is faltering

      Pros

      It's hard not to be proud of working for an institution working to "Make Cancer History" and most employees are happy to be here....however (see the "Cons" section).

      Cons

      Negative news about the new president, his wife and the appearance of shady financial issues (grant application mess, pres recommended stock for his company on TV, etc.) is damaging morale. Overall, it's still a good place to work with employer-paid benefits, decent pay and growth opportunities.

      Pros

      Prestigious place to work. MD Anderson has a very knowlegeable and professional staff. The people who work here tend to get along better than anticipated.

      Cons

      There's a bit of an "I'm older, so i know better, do better" mentality with some of the employees that can be annoying.
