Great Benefits but culture could use some work

Pros

Great benefits: paid healthcare, accrual of PTO, teacher's retirement funds. There are some great people that work there.

Cons

Culture was one of retaliation, distrust, and everything moved very slowly. People who are low performers do not get reprimanded or dealt with and just hang around getting paid while doing minimal work.

Pros

The only pro is the name of the institute which is in shambles at present so there is no use to look for anything here.

Cons

The worst management ever witnessed/ I have worked with. Upper management has political agendas and emotionally abuse there employees. Starting from the under qualified managers (puppets) who are actually enabled due to favoritism; everything seems to be chaotic. The employees/staff however are usually bearable. There is a constant sense of fear in the office with little to none job security. No one has the courage to speak out there minds unless they have a death wish. The salary is insufficient and there are no such things as raises/promotions. The management create a fiercely competitive unhealthy environment which inhibits the employees ability for growth and progression. If you require a job where there is no future and no rewards this is the perfect place to exist; old employees that do not adapt to change are very much welcomed here. My employment is only due to need basis and due to shortage of available jobs in the area. If any other jobs that suit my credentials are out there I will at once quit this.

Pros

Patients. Learning about cancer and all the new things they are doing to cure it

Cons

Layoffs. Clock- in down to the exact minute required and watched now that we are in crisis. We get in trouble if we clock- in online 1 minute early and you can get fired. It doesn't matter if your parking garage is a ten minute walk then you walk in the building is 5 minutes. Even if your peers park in a garage 1 minute away, they still dont care you are spending more time at work. The benefits aren't that good and we have to pay 7% of our paycheck towards retirement fund that we don't even get unless we work here 5 years.
