Pros

Nothing can match the level of knowledge, innovation and challenges you will face working here. Surrounded by an incredible group of people my experience here was life changing.

Cons

Naturally, working for a large group like MIT, no one comes here for the salary. MIT will support you to an extent, however what you get from this is the work.

Pros

Very stimulating environment, lots of different things you can do in order to learn diverse skills, challenging peers and amazing exposure to outside opportunities.

Cons

Requires self discipline because graduate school advisers may or may not care much.
