Pros

Amazingly talented, creative, kind people

Cons

If you are not faculty or student, you will not count. No promotion or pay raise path for some of the best trained in the world. People leave and the Institute does not care.

Pros

MIT has a wealth of resources for graduate students to pursue cutting-edge research and tons of extracurricular groups to help you explore interests.

Cons

The winter months are long and dark and the hours in lab can be long, so make sure to set your boundaries and stand by them.
