It's MIT

Pros

Hugely inspiring work environment. High quality research in almost every area of science and technology that you could imagine. Stipends of graduate students not that bad. Networking opportunities about as good as they could be for a university. Everyone passes through MIT--tech companies, government agencies like NASA, military, medical people, government leaders.

Cons

This is lab dependent, but people work a lot here and a lot of people have nothing interesting going on in their life outside of work. Sometimes I found myself wishing that I could spend time with people that didn't live and breathe science and engineering.
