Pros

Collaborative work culture full of bright and interesting people. Relatively flexible schedule and good work-life balance. Lots of lateral movement availability (it’s encouraged to explore and contribute to multiple projects at once), and therefore opportunity to explore different kinds of work.

Cons

With increased budget cuts, it is sometimes difficult to find enough work to fill yours hours.

Pros

Dedicated managers Interesting work (if you can find an open spot on a project) Some good benefits (until they cut those too)

Cons

Benefits being cut every few weeks/months Leadership constantly flip flopping on official policy with no warning Several rounds of layoffs in the past 1-2 years Hard to find projects
