      There is a lot of great technology and infrastructure here.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, MITRE is getting seriously creamed by the DOGE cuts. They have lost a good fraction of their contracts, and work in spaces dominated by Trump's cronies. Like many FFRDCs they will loose a lot of what work they have left to corrupt contracts, which will result in even more layoffs and perhaps the end of the company. Overall they were completely unprepared and naively optimistic that this administration would be like previous changes.

      Intelligent, hard working, and respectful colleagues.

      MITRE’s CEO, his leadership team, and subsequent division and department heads have all collectively lost their mind. Their ability to lead this, or any, organization is amateurish at best. The CEOs behavior has been incredibly inappropriate, and has only been getting worse. As a new employee I was shocked to hear how openly managers, chiefs, and leads openly mocked, and shared their disdain for the CEO and his team. Which goes back to the Board that is sleeping behind the wheel, since they refuse to do their job. MITRE is being run like a frat house by out of control, by egomaniacs that are drunk on power. It’s gotten too toxic to be ignored anymore.
