      Pros

      Great work-life balance, great benefits, some really great technical people.

      Cons

      Constant turnover in corporate officers does not instill confidence in major reformative efforts. Renaming departments, hiring more corporate officers does not actual indicate any actual progress on reducing bureaucracy and increasing agility.

      I wrote a review several years ago that was apparently so harsh that Glassdoor didn't even post it. From the reviews posted here in the past few years, I see that many people are figuring out how terrible management and HR are at MITRE. One HR woman in particular was perfectly comfortable repeatedly lying to my face. The department I was in had the lowest satisfaction scores (based on employee surveys) in the center and one of the lowest in the company so HR arranged a department meeting WITHOUT management present in order to help us figure out how to improve. Many employees gave feedback on how incompetent/useless/dishonest/malicious the management was in that department. What was done? Nothing. Your best employees don't leave because they are happy.
