      Abysmal C Suite, Phenomenal Employees otherwise

      Pros

      My coworkers are easy to get along with and are knowledgeable. The work is meaningful, and you feel like you are actually making a difference.

      Cons

      The CEO and C suite are out of touch. They stated that if you want to make money to leave MITRE. Instead of listening, they deflect. They hide behind belief systems and correlations instead of presenting actual data and statistics. Candid feedback to them is met with deflection and anger. Morale is at an all time low.

      Pros

      Excellent, ethical work that you can feel good about surrounded by great people.

      Cons

      At the c-level, we are being driven into the ground. Pay and benefits are dropping, and we are losing any differentiation with anyone else on the industry. It’s sad to watch the decline of a great organization.

      Relentless cutting of benefits for the last 2 years. Arrogant and dismissive CEO who gets visibly angry when confronted with difficult questions from employees.
