      Pros

      Work with very intelligent people Interesting projects Great learning environment for initiative/challenging yourself Work/life balance Benefits Holds a lot of weight on your resume but the environment itself will make it a difficult decision to leave!

      Cons

      None The only reason I left is to relocate across the country. My team fought for a teleworking agreement but it was denied as they are cutting back on them, which makes sense because it could limit growth.

      Very family oriented with a focus on work life balance.

      Cons

      Things move at a snails pace and it's hard to get things done sometimes.

      Pros

      Strong focus on employee growth, appreciative of the workforce, exceptional exposure to a multitude of science/technologies. You have a strong voice in what you can get paid to focus on.

      Cons

      Somewhat out of touch with Industry, can be difficult to understand how to succeed in your role. Pay is typically below what you'll find in the commercial sector, benefits arguably make up for it though.
