      Pros

      Good work/life balance with flexible hours and less hard deadlines. Good benefits like insurance and 401k matching.

      Cons

      Generally lower base salary when compared to other for profit companies. Work program at the whim of the US government.

      Excellent culture, excellent people, good work at a good salary with people who care about each other

      Cons

      Harvard education that focused on metrics for things that can not be measured. Taking way to long to fire people that needed to be fired years ago.

      Pros

      Great work in the public interest, generally good management and co-workers, flexible schedules, good benefits. With the Metro coming, the location is even better!

      Cons

      I can't think of any that I wouldn't find everywhere else. It seems that promotions are not easy to come by, I believe they could have a better performance evaluation system in place.
