      Pros

      Relaxed WLB, solid pay and benefits, consulting model so easy to switch across projects when government work is plentiful, etc.

      Cons

      Not top salary in tech, consulting model can also make it difficult to get good DevOps experience continuously developing and pushing code.

      Pros

      Coworkers are lovely and I enjoy the time I spend working with them.

      Cons

      Hybrid work is basically non existent. Remote is gone. 5 days a week in office and leadership keeps pretending it's because people work better in person. Even when sponsors have the day off, MITRE employees are still expected in office. Promotions are hard to come by, even if your department manager is pushing for it. I used to think I could retire here, now I don't know if I will last another year.
