      Pros

      Great compensation. Flexible scheduling. Some very interesting projects being developed as well as interesting clients to work with. Very intelligent and interesting people to work with.

      Cons

      In being an intern don't have terribly high ambitions. The requirement to be cleared made it difficult to work on substantial projects, that is if you are able to get cleared. Be sure to find out who is in charge and keep on top of this process, otherwise you are bound to fall between the cracks.

      Pros

      Work life - extremely flexible, very understand management. Information/Knowledge Sharing - it is the foundation of what MITRE is. There is always a resource for any question you may have, both technical and not. Pay at the higher levels are very competitive Work from home is possible from time to time

      Cons

      - Mid-level engineers pay not competitive to industry - Management can be lacking at times. Many of them are former scientist/engineers themselves. To me, PhDs aren't always the best managers.
