Pros
great atmosphere, where people are really proud of the work, and take it very seriously. Lots of opportunities to get involved in diverse work programs, involving lots of domains. You are constantly sourrounded by very smart people.
Cons
As mentioned in other posts, the promotion process is kind of a joke. They claim there is a technical track and a management track, but in reality the only way to advance is through the management track. Also, they sometimes fall too much in love with themselves, thinking that MITRE work is the only quality product out there
