Pros

pay is ok but there are other places that pay better. they give you 30$ monthly for transportation which you will spend in a week because that is not enough. the are no young people working at this company.

Cons

as a contractor you always have to be on the look out for projects you can work on. you have to sell yourself internally. if you dont, then you will have no projects and will be unable to charge.

Thanks for your candid review and for being part of the MITRE team. MITRE was established to further national security in innovative ways and serve the public good. More than six decades later, we continue to do this, serving as an independent adviser and applying systems thinking that solves problems for a safer world. Our work has grown beyond national security to encompass a broad array of projects, such as artificial intelligence, government innovation, and health, that require collaboration and technical know-how. The breadth of our work offers employees the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways to projects and programs that have tangible impact for our nation. Our company’s impact is driven by our exceptionally talented employees who have a passion for our public interest mission. To meet the unique needs of our diverse, multigenerational workforce, we offer thoughtfully designed benefits that support the physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing of our employees, including the option to pay commuting expenses with pre-tax dollars and a monthly transportation subsidy for each eligible employee. Thank you, again. We’re glad you’re part of the MITRE team as we work together to solve the hardest problems for the public good.

We are deeply committed to consistently providing competitive benefits that include our top of the line medical, dental, vision, and retirement in addition to many paid leave programs such as parental, caregiver, military, bereavement, and civic time.
