Pros

- Majority of fellow coworkers are good to work with. - Pay is good (..but not great) - Upper management seems to be changing for the better.

Cons

- Projects are not managed well. This leads to high-level of ambiguity in many facets of the project. Undefined roles and unclear timelines are two big examples. - Management approach leads to a high stress environment. - Company culture is non-existent. - Company doesn't really care about your personal professional development. - Not best at managing professionals and bringing out their talents. - Reluctance to embrace new technologies.

I am glad to read that you had a good working experience with your former peers; this is an important aspect for any role. As an organization, we believe we should develop & engage our people. This is one of our guiding principles. A significant part of professional development is on-the-job training, which naturally occurs through your work and interactions. A small portion of development is through formalized training programs. This is the 70/20/10 rule of employee development that most companies utilize: 70% of development in within an employee’s job, 20% happens through mentoring and developing key relationships and 10% happens through training which might include online study as well as training courses. Pros

Great compensation, and collaborative work environment. Having the ability to work remotely during Covid, and frequent updates from managers made the experience less stressful. Projects are demanding, but offer good opportunities to move into different roles.

Cons

401K is a 50% match, would like to see that go to 100% match at 6%.

Growing too fast, they don't care about their employees

Pros

Health insurance plan, vacation time

Cons

Management is a joke, most managers are clueless what they're doing but they have a degree and that makes them "management", micro management is thick at MKS, almost every person is in a terrible mood daily, workloads are ridiculously overwhelming for everyone. Unless you're a Manager, don't expect any perks. Bonuses are a joke for people under management. Zero support from HR.
