Pros

A top pharma company for good reason—it actively seeks opportunities to innovate and stay ahead in the industry. The company offers opportunities for exploration and professional development through internal gigs. Bonuses are reliably awarded, thanks to consistent year-over-year performance and success.

Cons

The company exhibits many characteristics typical of a large, legacy organization. There are siloed departments/fiefdoms, resulting in a lack of genuine collaboration across divisions. While opportunities for exploration exist, they often require direct manager approval, which can be difficult to secure if your leader prioritizes productivity over individual growth. Tuition reimbursement benefit is limited to select institutions. The organizational culture is resistant to change, making it challenging to successfully implement innovative ideas. There’s a noticeable disconnect between leadership and teams, which often feels out of touch. Additionally, there is a high tolerance for underperformance and at times, a concerning acceptance of unprofessionalism (not constructive, rude or off-putting remarks).
