Pros

To be honest, it’s a nice place to raise children, especially if you’re the mom. You get to order your colleagues around with your belly and pile them with your work since you have to leave the office early to pick up your child. They almost never fire anybody, but work is never evenly distributed since people leave the company on their on will. Free meals if you work over 7pm. A tiny gym is available. If you’re good at pretending to be busy, this is a place for you to retire.

Cons

Office Leave rate is around 20%. Never clock out on time, an average work day is bout 10H No extra pay or compensate for work on weekends during biz travel, they say it’s because you’re “abroad” Managements have no idea how to run the company and refuse to listen. Disses anybody but sales, they are the boss here. Marketing has to be able to do anything from packing materials on the ground, video editing, photo editing to hosting a YouTube channel, run gaming competition and throwing plush dolls off a stage. Pay is average Taiwanese company pay, which is not valued for your work.

Pros

Not sure where to really start...I applied to this place because my last position was hell on earth and I knew any company would be better in the mean time. Look at the below pros: - It was next to some good food places, a dispensary, the mall and the gym so that was something to look forward to - I made some great, long lasting friendships during my time in the mkt dept - Seems to be a management vs employee type of environment which means no one's competing to take my job away - 2-3 hour lunch breaks were nice - Being able to use verbal language was never frowned upon - I could wear joggers/sweats and no one seemed to care - Envision (meant doubling up on a coffee run or getting costco gas)

Cons

Let this section be lengthy. The company visions have changed over the years. I can't speak for other depts, but marketing low balls you from the start. Aside from cheap upper management, this is not a company that knows how to run things. They tend to nurture the dumb and useless here. Then they get rewarded with assistants while the hard working individuals get stuck with more work. There's no real job duties for anyone. I've seen people get on their hands and knees (marketing dept) to wrap pallets, clean the warehouse, move boxes and to do other manual labor. This team tends to run the show and do the behind the scenes support, but never gets appreciated. Instead, they have a witch who micromanages to the bone. There is absolutely no trust between supervisor and team members. It's sad. This person of power is pretty brutal. I've been called names of other employees... I've also been called a "she" before... Absolutely no respect for anyone. When she's angry, you can hear she scream and stomp her foot like a 4 year old. I hope she doesn't pop a blood vessel or get a heart attack from all this unnecessary anger.

Pros

1. Good opportunity for a fresh man 2. Salary might be OK, depends on how you negotiate. 3. The business performance is good and growing but the company culture will kill you

Cons

1. Dictatorship management that HQ supervisor decides everything. All you need to do is follow the strategy without having your own idea. They basically need a dumb but well-followed employee rather than smart people. 2. HQ (Taiwan) actually don't respect the knowledge from local people. VERY DIFFICULT to communicate with HQ Taiwanese people. 3. The marketing strategy is stupid that they ask employees to visit all retail shops for doing product training ; working on holidays for attending the event or holding an event. One of their marketing strategy is brain washing employees and customers that they are No.1 in gaming while it isn't true. They slander their competitors by saying the bad words, which I dont think it's a right way to win the business. 4. Only Taiwanese people get HUGE bonus
