Pros

Decent pay, down to earth manager.

Cons

When I first started, I was with Veyo and then MTM took over. I loved working for Veyo, i started out as a CCR and within a few months I was promoted to the escalations team and given frequent bonuses for my performance. I was confident in my ability to really grow within the company. Then there was talk of us merging with MTM Inc and at first I was very excited and very for the transition because that meant my team was going to be taking on calls for all the states they contract with, and I was excited to learn and expand my skillset. However, MTM is not what they portray themself to be. They hardly trained us on the ever-changing protocols, and I learned very quickly that I was not going to keep growing in the company. I had applied and interviewed and had other leaders recommend me for new roles and time after time I was shut down for trivial reason "I didn't seem confident enough" etc, even though I felt very confident and had maintained being #1 on my metrics like call times, adherence, pt satisfaction, etc. for 3 years straight. It was also hard to get time off for ANYTHING, My step father died and i requested bereavement and had it denied because i was not listed on the obituary and had to get the funeral home to type a letter to confirm my relation which was very stressful so i spent my time worrying about that than actually mourning and being with my family. I also requested off for health reasons that would get denied and for my own wedding to which I told them I just would not be there which then made the request get approved. I gave 110% effort to MTM Inc. and toward the end of my employment with them I was starting to experience extreme burnout due to back to back calls of being screamed at by member's that are left stranded for hours with no resolution in sight. We are told by higher ups that the rides are not guaranteed so many people are left SOL. at the end I found a new job and gave the company my two weeks' notice, only to be fired 3 days later because I used the last 3 days of PTO I had. Their point system is a joke, they do not care if you have a Dr's note, nor your circumstances or emergencies. Once you hit 7 points you are out of there, you can get point taken off after a ridiculous amount of time, which to me shows that they are not trying to have long term employees. You are looked at as just a number and nothing more. I spent 4 years as a dedicated reliable employee and gave a courteous 2 weeks' and was fired like I was nothing. Beware. It is a very faced paced job with rules and protocols constantly changing with very unhappy stranded members that can and will scream at you, threaten you, and make you feel just downright awful, which can you blame them after being stranded at your doctor apt for hours? And you will get no recognition for your hard work and will be easily replaced. I love the idea of the company truly but it is a mess of a system and it will leave you feeling drained.
