A company that recognized hard work and rewards it

Pros

The company has a casual work environment where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves. When you work hard, and show commitment to the customer and the company, that is recognized and rewarded. I've also had opportunities to travel throughout North America and Australia, which I don't think I would have done on my own.

Cons

Internal training can be lacking at times, but it is something that management is aware of and are currently working up a process to train new employees.

Pros

MTech is a fast-growing company with plenty of opportunity for talented people. The atmosphere is friendly, collaborative, and tech-oriented. There are lots of talented and smart people working for the company. A good deal is demanded of employees, but the rewards are great. Everyone is willing to help if you do your homework and reach out. The advancement opportunity and the potential to take on new responsibilities abound for those who have the desire and the skill. The organization is flat and the ability to form and implement solutions to problems are streamlined.

Cons

The work schedule can at times be demanding, but that comes with the territory of contributing at a fast growing company with lots of opportunity.

Pros

Flexible work hours, work from home when needed, relaxed and informal work environment. Offers a unique product which gives the company great potential for growth. Financially stable and almost recession proof.

Cons

Lacks management, vision, and organization. Family owned business with little chances of professional advancement. The relaxed and informal work environment gets in the way of productivity. Advancement, though limited, is based on friendships and relationships, not merits. Low salaries and limited benefits. Good for young, single, recent grads who want to travel and get their feet wet but not for experienced professionals. Too many unwritten/unspoken rules that you only learn about when you brake them.
