Great Potential but Headed in the Wrong Direction

Pros

Fully remote (but now leaning towards hybrid), bonus opportunities, simple/easy to do my job most days, not micromanaged, unlimited PTO

Cons

Constant layoffs (just had our 4th I think and I’ve worked here just about a year) make me feel like I do not want to ever accept a promotion or change roles, and I also do not want to do my current role forever. This has me open to other job opportunities. They are also slowly getting rid of all the exciting perks about working here. Fully remote work, 401k match, wellness stipend, investor program. I suspect the unlimited PTO will be going away at some point too.

Pros

Very flexible and willing to work with you for scheduling around family issues. Pay is good for what I do and they prefer to hire from within prior to hiring external candidates.

Cons

The workload can get to be a bit much, no shortage of work to go around. Not really a con, but it is the only thing I could think of.

Mynd’s C-suite historically just ok, but recent acquisition by Roofstock has me more optimistic that things are going in the right direction.
