Pros

Benefits are good, 401k match, cheap gym on site, casual about making up hours, casual dress code. Okay as a starting place but don't expect advancement.

Cons

Poor management and communication makes everything miserable. Pay is rock bottom, raises are rare and minimal, cost of living raises were frozen years ago and never reinstated. Management seems comfortable with the crazy turnover of dissatisfied employees. They wait until someone gets sick of it and leaves then hire someone new for the same low wages. You can make twice as much anywhere else.

Pros

They pay on time. The end.

Cons

They dangle carrots they never intend on giving, they tell you how great your salary and benefits are when the startup across the street gives more, they don't care about you as a human at the upper management levels, only as a cog that gives them cash.

Pros

- Benefits (not pay) were great - Coworkers are generally fantastic and fun - Bagels on Tuesday isn't bad

Cons

- Pay is not the best with little room for raises or advancement (the company had a wage freeze for about three of the five years I was there. Sounds like it hasn't much improved since I left). - The actual product is horrid. The testing department is overwhelmed with all the bugs in the software, the bugs do not get fixed in a timely manner, and then those angry clients are pushed onto the support staff. - The CEO ruins the company's image with the public and also ruins staff morale. His racism and especially sexism shine through on multiple occasions. He also threatens the safety of the company by opening spam emails on his work computer and responding to the spam emails. - The management play favorites with staff which causes numerous issues. This includes immature support personnel being promoted to supervisor positions. - At the time I was there if an employee changed positions in the company, you raise was not immediate. You had to wait three months first and then got a raise. However, I found out this was not an actual policy and managers were picking and choosing who got their raise right away and who they wanted to wait on. - The staff has also been known to be treated like slaves by CEO. At conferences, he is constantly asking them to do things like, "open my water bottle," or "go by me nail clippers." - The company uses Reputation Loop to suppress their bad reviews through online and sees no ethical issues there
