Pros

Flexible Schedule Decent Healthcare That's about it

Cons

They have completely drunk the AI KoolAid. CTO says if we don't use AI, we are "unhireable". When asked if they will be flexible if we're experiencing adverse side effects from using AI, leadership will dismiss your experience and reverse the blame onto you. They can't admit they care about their employees because they don't. They interrogate you on how you do every little thing to see if you're using Claude. You'll get your hand-slapped if you do mundane things like write commit messages or open PRs without Claude. They don't have solid software development processes, test in production, then waste tons of time putting out production fires. Everything is expected to be done yesterday. No sense of community or camaraderie. Bottom line: This company does not care about people.

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

I used to work here for 7 years. The once gold standard company of subrogation has now turned into the biggest joke. Every member of the executive team has their head in the sand and wonder why everyone who still works there is miserable. Imagine going from making 100K+ year where every dollar YOU brought in mattered to now having to compete with your with your fellow coworkers for 1/3 of the bonus you used to get. The new CEO has to be the greediest person I've ever met. The bonus structure used be designed in a way that allowed YOU, as an individual, to recover as much as you can and essentially get a great bonus based on your own recoveries, Average analysts only had to maybe recover $200K A QUARTER (not easy but also obtainable) to make a good livable salary and make good bonuses. Now David Pierre steps in and designs a hunger games style bonus structure in which you now have to compete with analysts and get a reduced SET bonus regardless of how much you recovered. This resulted in analysts LITTERALY having to recover $400K plus to beat out their competition (coworkers) to potentially only get like a $1,500 bonus at the end of the MONTH not Quarter. Think about that, analyst are now recovering 2x to 3x more dollars a month for 1/3 of the bonus they use to get. Where is the rest of the revenue going? They do not care about the wellbeing of their employees. They just want to tinker with your bonus structure to maximize the executives' paychecks. It's sad and disgusting. I still speak with old coworker and they consistently tell me how miserable it is. When they fired me, I was sad at first but now realize how grateful I am not to be stuck at that miserable place anymore. Greener pastures ANYWHERE else.
