Pros

Flexible schedules, you can advertise and swap your swift all online. Easy to view job information on their employee website. 20% discount on almost anything on top of coupons, plus 30% certain days Managers were nice and easy to work with, depends on the location For retail it's not that bad, it's easy work when it's not busy and they don' really pay much attention to what you're doing

Cons

Lack of training in the beginning. I was put in front of a computer and that was my training. When I was on the selling floor there was very little direction for new employees. My first day I was left in an area by myself.

Pros

Macy's hired me, a person with no prior retail experience. I learned a lot about the retail industry and customer service. Wage is ok Good job if you want to get experience in retail or to make some money The benefits are good (From what I have heard)

Cons

Scheduling work hours can be a little stressful (at first), but for the most part it's ok There will also be a lot of returns but anyone who works in retail knows that this is a part of customer service

Pros

other low-level associates are usually friendly. the work itself is easy and mindless and at least they pay a bit more than minimum wage

Cons

customers can be obnoxious and forget that you're a human. management-level employees are kind of annoying. the online scheduling system (insite) is TERRIBLE
