Pros

Opportunity for advancement was huge many years ago. It was a reason many employees stayed for 15, 20, 25 years which is so uncommon these days. The employees work very hard and most support one another. Retail is very fast paced, you certainly have to keep up with the continual change but that is what makes it addictive!

Cons

The loss of the West Coast division highly impacted any remaining room for creativity in many positions. Annual increases were minimal at the executive level and the hourly employees cannot live on what they are being paid.Work/life balance is talked about but not fully supported.

Pros

The company is very fashion forward and trend right. Always on the cutting edge of what's new and what's now.

Cons

Company has been around for over 100 years and has gone through several transitions and acquisitions but leadership at the top has remained fairly consistent, slowing change at times.
