      I enjoy the people but not the work.

      Pros

      The people are very friendly. I love to help people and I have learned a lot from my experience at Macy's.

      Cons

      I don't get enough hours. Customers can be very rude and picky. The job sometimes can feel monotonous and tiring.

      It's an ok place to work but the salary could be higher for the work performed

      Pros

      Being able to assist customers on a daily basis. Seeing the satisfaction of the customer as the end of the sale.

      Cons

      Sometimes the managers can be condesending to the associates. Some managers take advantage of employees by having them do some of their duties but give no recognition.

      Pretty Fair. Just HATE having to open the card!

      Pros

      Relatively easy work, after a while, customer service skills, POS transactions, etc become second nature. Employee discounts and first hand access to new items on the store.

      Cons

      Scorecards reflect a very limited picture of how an employee is -- it doesn't put into consideration on how much actual customer service an associate puts into the sale. Some associate lack social skills and work ethics. Very low pay and poor benefits. The worst part of it all is dealing with rude and disrespectful customers and customers who cheat their way around the system (switching tickets, harassing customers to lower down price, shoplifters, etc)
