Pros

The only reason to work here besides getting a paycheck is the discount.

Cons

Macys doesn't care about their employees. We're just an extension of the POS. They try to stress you out day in and day out about credits and sales. Most of the time there aren't any customers and people don't want macy's cards because of the high interest rate. The coupons are nice but nothing is worth the interest. If you get sick or have an emergency where you can't come they're not understanding about it.They act as if they don't want you have a life outside of working there. Its the worst place ever to work.

Pros

flexible schedule , shopping, senior management is really nice

Hardly ever see manager, Can hardly ever get in contact with you, some managers act like your shadow, they're quick to snap, they don't tell you about rules & many company policies so when you break a rule that you don't know you're breaking you still are at fault. Communication is horrible. They act like you're trying to steal or treat you as if you're doing something fraudulent when you aren't. They don't appreciate you at all and if you do a thousand things right ( you don't get any praise ) but when you do one thing wrong they are all down your throat.
