Pros

I have been working for ME for over 6 months now. I have constant bookings, I get paid on time, and unlike other companies, they don't penalize you for being sick. You can tell that they are trying to make their teachers happy.

Cons

I wish they had more hours available to work

We will definitely open up more hours in the future. Stay tuned! Currently the working hours is from 6:30pm-9pm Beijing time every day. We are opening time slots from 10am to 11:30am on weekends and during holidays. Although the time available is limited, new teachers are able to get booked as soon as they pass all the application process. Our pay is 30% higher than the average wage of the market. Secondary positions are also a good opportunity for higher income. Hopefully, our teachers will be able to find this a decent and well-paid job to provide for themselves.

Pros

The support staff at Magic Ears are literally some of the best people I've ever worked with. My hourly rate was just increased when I heard I might qualify for a higher base rate due to my background.

Cons

The only downside for me is the hours, as most days there are only 2.5 teaching hours available. They are working to expand this but as the students are Chinese school children, the hours are naturally limited. I as offered to teach some teacher trainings so that has provided one extra hours .

Pros

Pays more than most Getting classes booked is based on meeting specific standards Administration listens to and implements employee ideas -It's a relatively new company so all employees are constantly offered new projects to do (we get paid to do them). Some of those could include, curriculum dev, video making, social media stuff, training other instructors. They are understanding and flexible with cancellations for emergencies. -The only reason I don't put 5 stars is that no one is perfect. I do recommend applying here

Cons

-Depending on where you live it's early morning hours
