Pros

Easily the best group of people I've ever worked with. Gentle, intelligent and driven. Can't say enough about how exciting the product is. It's not just about being on the bleeding edge of VR/MR either. We're blazing trails in many areas of science, technology and entertainment. CEO cares a lot for employees and has a passion for improving mankind.

Cons

Company is growing so quick, there are areas that grow faster than others. For example, not having enough meeting space. But my gripe is not about having enough meeting space! Rather how it causes people to complain which can spoil the otherwise fantastic energy in the company. You do have to understand coming in that this is a bit of a gamble. We're all hoping the VR hype doesn't end the way 3DTV did. If you're looking for a place to retire, this might not be it. If you're looking for the most exciting company in the country (and you're not an jerk) then welcome aboard :D

Not so magical

Pros

A lot of great people.

Cons

Terrible leadership. Absolute lack of transparency. The office in Florida is incredibly overcrowded. It's so loud you can't hear yourself think. When people complain about the conditions, they're told to work from home. But if you need access to the hardware, you CAN'T work from home. Executives never leave their offices (especially the CEO), then tell the employees that their concerns about noise and crowding aren't valid.
