The leadership especially the Public Safety Supervisor/Manager at BMRH has been top notch. Always willing to work with staff to accomplish common goals.

Sometimes I feel like needed communication is not always done.

Pros

My experience with this health care system has been overwhelmingly positive, especially when it comes to culture, collaboration, and opportunities for advancement. The organization places a strong emphasis on transparency, which has made it easy to understand expectations, organizational goals, and how my role contributes to the bigger picture. Leadership communicates openly, and that clarity has helped me feel both informed and valued. The work environment is supportive and team‑oriented. Collaboration isn’t just encouraged—it’s embedded in the daily workflow. Colleagues across departments are willing to share knowledge, problem‑solve together, and step in when needed. This sense of teamwork has created a workplace where people genuinely want each other to succeed, and it shows in the quality of care we deliver. One of the biggest strengths of this organization is its commitment to professional growth. I’ve been able to advance into new positions during my time here, and each step has come with mentorship, constructive feedback, and access to development resources. Career pathways are clearly defined, and employees who show initiative are given real opportunities to grow.

Cons

One area where the organization could continue to grow is in expanding structured professional development programs. While I’ve personally experienced strong support and have been able to advance into new roles, creating more standardized pathways—such as formal mentorship programs, leadership workshops, or clearer timelines for skill‑based progression—would help ensure that all employees have equal access to growth opportunities. Strengthening these resources would build on the already positive culture of transparency and collaboration and further empower staff to develop their careers within the system.

Pros

Acute inpatient physical rehab is all about teamwork. The people we work with have complex needs as they work to get back to their lives. Working with a team who focuses on the patient enables us to maximize the person’s recovery. It is great to be part of the amazing progress the patients can achieve.

Cons

The new orientee has a lot to learn. The team supports the learning. They recognize and reward the effort that new staff put into the process.
