MLH offers many opportunities for growth. Managers and the leadership team truly want employees to succeed and actively encourage professional development. MLH also provides opportunities such as committee involvement, a clinical ladder, and tuition reimbursement for those who are interested in continuing their education. MLH has the feel of a small, close-knit community where everyone knows one another, creating a welcoming environment that truly feels like home.

Cons

In nursing, we often work in high pressure situations where quick decision-making is required, and mistakes can have serious consequences- sometimes the mental and physical toll can be challenging at times. In addition, as is everyone across the county, we have a nursing shortage, which we know can impact job satisfaction.

- Helpful coworkers (most) but can be very clique-y - Free parking - Pension plan (vested after 5 years of employment)

Cons

- Lowest paid health system in Philadelphia area - Toxic work environment - Senior management does not care about employees (safe staffing ratios, no metal detectors, etc.)
