      Pros

      - Fantastic coworkers with a strong sense of teamwork. I would not have stayed in my current unit throughout the pandemic if it weren't for my coworkers. - Plentiful resources to provide the highest quality of care for our patients - Commitment to growth as a hospital and organization

      Cons

      - We accrue more vacation time than we could possibly take and senior management has discontinued the payout option for basic leave time at the end of the year, so all vacation time over the limit is lost. - As an organization, we have lost a lot of money throughout the pandemic, so senior management is constantly looking for ways to cut costs, which has resulted in tighter staffing ratios, less opportunities for OT, and lower bonuses.

      Pros

      Main Line Health is a generous and solid employer. The benefits are very competitive and opportunities for personal development are plentiful if you want it. Being such a large company provides opportunities to learn new things, cross-train, and build working relationships across the organization.

      Cons

      Running a health care system, including acute care hospitals, is a 24/7 operation. This requires added resources, staffing, and consideration to support patients, visitors and employees alike. This is not a con of the employer, just a matter of fact about health care.

      Excellent reputation and high standards of care Team environment with many opportunities to develop Recently there have been many changes to our benefits offerings and support for the employees.
