      Great teams that work together. Excellent patients care. Amazing work environment. Outstanding cafeteria and food. Opportunities to grow. Professional development support. Process improvement initiatives with positive outcomes and expanded training for staff in any job role. Great clinical care teams that focus on quality, safety and involving staff in decision making.

      Cons

      Not a Trauma center. The organization is a little smaller than the other hospitals in Maine which can be nice but also can limit your opportunities.

      In the healthcare industry, the fast pace and demands can often lead to employees feeling "lost in the crowd." MaineGeneral is proactive around this, and makes every attempt to work with managers and supervisors to address make staff feel engaged and of importance.
